A little while ago, I was sent some complimentary products (for reviewing purposes) from PÜR Cosmetics.
PÜR’s products are #crueltyfree and “clinically formulated to deliver better-looking skin in 60 seconds and healthier skin in 60 days.” Their makeup is mineral based and formulated with good-for-your-skin ingredients that not only help cover skin imperfections but also help correct its overall appearance.
The three products I got to try (top to bottom) are the No Filter Blurring Photography Primer, Fully Charged Mascara Powered by Magnetic Technology, and and the HydraGel Lift Eye Perfecting Primer.
No Filter is a primer containing blurring micropearls (you can see them sparkle in the second photo!), vitamin-rich energy complex, moisturizing agave, and natural oils to give a moisturizing dewy-yet-shine-free complexion. I found that this product was light on my skin and I liked that it wasn’t scented.
My skin is naturally oily, so I avoid makeup that promises ‘dewy looks’. I found that because of the sparkles in this primer, my skin looks a little too dewy for my liking, so I wore it where I would put highlighter for a subtle glow (cheekbones and under eyebrow arches). I can see myself using this more in the winter, when my skin is dry and dull, for a pick-me-up!
According to the packaging, Fully Charged is an “age defying mascara formula” that “contains a revolutionary positively charged matrix that attracts to each individual lash to strengthen, thicken, lengthen, and separate for unparalleled performance”.
From my physics background, I’m curious how they keep the charge, but the formula is decent nonetheless. My lashes did not clump and I noticed more volume. I also like the applicator.
While I liked all three products, I absolutely LOVE the HydraGel Lift! I’ve been putting it under my eyes after late nights out and I notice a difference in about 10 seconds. My eyes look less puffy and more awake, there’s no stickiness so I can apply makeup on top, and it is really easy to apply because it is in a stick form. Highly recommend!
Overall, I liked the three products I received and I would be willing to try more PÜR Cosmetics. I would recommend them to anyone, especially to people looking for good quality cruelty free makeup.
